Sellers Report

Whenever you have a vehicle that leaves your posession, it is so important to do a sellers report. By law, whoever purchases your vehicle is responsible to transfer the title within 15 days. Just so you know, friends and family are the worst to do this. If you trade your vehicle in, or it’s in an accident and the insurance takes it over, they have 45 days to do the paperwork. That’s a lot of time for someone to be driving a vehicle around in your name. That’s why, by law, you are supposed to do a sellers report within 5 days of it leaving your posession. I can’t tell you how many vehicles we get that are impounded, and they are still in the old owner’s name. Unfortunately, that is the person who is responsible for the vehicle and the expense it incurs.

There are a few ways that you can do a sellers report. You can go to a DMV and do one, I believe they charge around $5 to $8. You can go to the courthouse, (I’m not sure if they charge or not). You can click the link below and do one online yourself for free, or you can call me, Bonnie, with your information, and I will do one online for you and mail it to you for free. Whichever way is easiest for you, please do a sellers report. It can save you a lot of time and heartache! By the way, you can give our number out to anyone to call during business hours, and I’ll be happy to do one for them.

Pictures

If your vehicle has been involved in an accident, I will be happy to go out to the "yard" and take pictures for you. I can either send them to your email, or I can send them to Rite Aid or any other place that accepts digital pictures over the internet. This comes in very handy, because all you have to do is go to the place you have me send them to and pick up your prints. The only charge for this is what they charge you to pick the pictures up, which is minimal. I don’t charge for the service of taking the photos or sending them out to print or to your email.

I looked around at picture pricing.  To see the places and amounts, click on the "Picture Price" tab at the top of the page.  If there is another place you would like to know about, let me know...  I'll look it up :)
